The owners of the Loch Lomond Distillery Company reportedly are close to selling their business to undicslosed private investors. HSBC investment bankers are said to advise Loch Lomond on the deal.
The company owns the Loch Lomond distillery where they can distill malt and grain whisky on the same site, Glen Scotia in Campbeltown and the licence of the demolished Littlemill distillery in Bowling, West Dunbartonshire. The bottling plant Glen Catrine Bonded Warehouse Company is also part of the venture.
